The SW Mites program promotes the three S’s of Sweat, Smiles and Skills. We believe it is important for players, parents and coaches to have a consistent foundation on which to enter the EYBA programs for older players. The developmental curriculum is designed to help foster a love of the game, an appreciation for youth development in sport and an approach to coaching based on sportsmanship and respect. Modified rules, use of a smaller ball, age appropriate drills and skills, and hoops lowered to 8 feet promote a fun and positive experience for young players.
Mites basketball has been offered in the Southwest communities for over 20 years! Our program has grown consistently and we now have close to 200 boys and girls playing at this level.
